Sales and Investor Relations Manager

Lion Asset Management is a fast growing and exciting pooled investment and educational platform enabling clients to choose from a range of different funds to invest into in an effective & efficient manner with low barriers to entry (investment levels start at £500,000).

Lion Asset Management are searching for an ambitious, hungry and innovative Sales professional who can help build and grow the business in line with demand. As a senior member of the team the role will cover Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations activities. Success will lead to significant rewards both personally and professionally.

About the role:

Main Duties / Responsibilities Of The Role:

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a fast growing and established venture. The preferred candidate will operate closely with the Sales Director to perfect and enhance the Sales and Marketing proposition and to ensure Lion Asset Management can hit their aggressive financial growth milestones.

This role will require an intelligent, hungry and motivated Sales professional who can think outside the box and assist in getting the best output from the team by setting a stellar example. The pace is fast and the team is a dynamic and diverse combination of individuals.

The key activities:

Contact new leads discussing and explaining the investment model Lion Asset Management offer with the aim to setting up face to face meetings throughout Europe.
Respond to both incoming calls and actively searching for new leads by attending networking events and creating a new contact base.
Conduct both face to face and phone meetings with potential investors, discussing the model in detail and specific investment opportunities which are currently available.
Hit aggressive sales targets both in terms of sales, growing the client base and increasing the active investor group conversion rates.
Awareness of and adherence to regulatory requirements regarding the sales of UCIS products.

Education And Professional Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a QCF/L4 qualification in financial advice gained through the CII.
You will qualify for the issue of a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) by an FCA accredited body (such as the CII).
RO4 or willingness to study for and pass RO8 is essential.
AF3 or G60 desirable though not essential.
Willingness to study for AF3 is essential.
Graduate from university.
Highly numerate.

Career Experience / Background:

Proven track record in Sales and achieving targets.
Strong customer relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
Experience of coming up with new and innovative ideas to enhance sales.
Ability to quickly build a strong rapport with HNW investors (especially over the phone).
Experience of financial products.

Business Skills & Knowledge:

Analytical skills. Ability to think logically to analyse problems & people.

Exceptional communication skills – ability to relay information in a concise and understanding way to lead to successful sales.
Self-starter who can think outside the box to generate new ideas and sales.
Control and process engineering experience is valuable (enhancing the sales process as the business grows is desirable).
